The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte | Full Audiobook
The life of today's Western woman may seem difficult, but how much more complicated was it in times when she was merely her husband's property, with no say in any important matter? The novel "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall" tells the story of such a woman, who simultaneously hides a difficult past from the world. How will the one who finally learns about it react?
A widow appears at the titular manor, whose beauty and mysteriousness quickly attracts many glances, especially one - that of a certain Gilbert Markham. Her arrival is shrouded in secrecy, which causes all the local residents to start spinning theories about who she really is.
Helen Graham, for that is how the stranger introduces herself, after some time allows the aforementioned gentleman to read her diary. Very quickly, the blood-curdling events of her past life come to light, especially the story in which she leaves her husband. Unfortunately, one cannot always easily escape from past problems. Often they chase us, and even more often they catch up.
The author of this novel is Anne Brontë, who with her light pen conveyed an extremely interesting story in an accessible way. This novel does not belong to any series, but its creator has written more than one prose that can be easily associated with this story - all are fast-paced and full of mysteries that await the reader.

This was an amazing tale of debauchery and a chance at salvation. I was horrified into a state of awe that took me so low an then lifted me high with hope, that out of all that dark ess and wickedness ,fear and longing, that the man would repent. To me, the knight represents Jesus or close to the man at the gates of hell , the ending was sad but hopeful as he said, he did not rob the honest man. But continued on living a life of vice and self-pity, to live another day cheating death and the devil. I LOVE this tale. As much as I love Hamlet. (My favorite Ghost story of all time) The writing and how everything was described throughout the story Make me wonder and think and ponder about the hard times that used to be hearing about the wolves, killing a family. The woman who froze to death On the porch of the hotel, how the frost and the cold is depicted as yet another character on The story of death. I only wish that I had read this years and years and years ago and then exposed to this kind of writing what up amazing fantastical tale. Thank you again so much for sharing this. I have to somehow find a copy of this and it will be right up there with Hamlet. And the narration of this story was incredible. I hung on every single word. Every syllable carried me along on this. Terrifying journey on this cold winter's night. Coming from somebody who lives in the present day in the 2000s. I can't even imagine being frightened. Of being eaten to death by wolves. And yet I know that story is true. To be in the comfort of my car, that is heating and air conditioning, and to think how the people in this era lived and died. Of the bitter, cold and the elements that surrounded them, or they couldn't just walk into a home. Or a pub, or anything to get warm, or even use a public bathroom. Love it. Just love it. Thank you so much. God bless you and have a beautiful day❤❤❤❤

This should be played across the nation. Sadly, we are too deep in. We can't trust our media. I'm 46 so many younger people have no idea how much it has changed. I wish Elon would play this world wide once a week. So many people have no idea what's coming. What they wish for. I would have never believed this could have happened to the west. Especially America. More importantly, this fast. Just 10 years ago. If anyone told us , we would be here, in 2024. We would laugh and say you were crazy. This is scary. I'm genuinely afraid for this next election. We won't survive as a country with 4 more years of these policies. I can't understand how anyone could vote democrat again. It just shows the power of propaganda. Scary times.

Didn't know how much of the modern west has been influenced by this book, words like "orwellian", "memory holed", "double think", new speak = political correctness. Calling people comrade as not to define people as mr or ms, the "thought police" I am theologically and politically conservative. This book is amazing and if I was biblically illiterate or naive, I would assume George Orwell was some kind of prophet. The wonderful art while holding seemingly contradictory concepts is mind boggling.
